The DFR-8600D is a self-contained, compact, easy-to-operate wideband HF/VHF/UHF “radio direction finding engine” operated by a host computer via Ethernet TCP/IP data link. It’s Windows based HuntMASTER software provides real-time polar bearing display (essential for mobile tracking and homing radio direction finding missions). Comprises of DFP-1010D DF Processor & IC-R8600 surveillance-quality receiver. This is a full-featured high-performance DF system in a footprint small enough even for mobile, man-pack and airborne applications.

With an overall height of only 6.2″, this unit can be concealed beneath radomes, vehicle air conditioning vents, truck bed canopies, and other nonconductive covers for concealment. The unit is also wellsuited for custom in-vehicle mounting for the ultimate in covertness.
